with Charities and healthcare organisations
Our history has proven—and our strategy continues to show—that by working together, we can discover, develop, and deliver the innovative pharmaceutical therapies that will help people live longer, healthier, and more active lives.
Lilly is committed to partnering with patient advocacy organisations for the benefit of patients and in a way that is true to the ABPI Code of Practice and Lilly’s integrity in business policy.
In the UK we make the scope of our partnerships with Patient advocacy groups public in order to increase transparency. This includes stating the amount of funding that Lilly provides.
Lilly is also committed to supporting projects which improve patient care and provide educational information to the medical community and funds a range of healthcare organisations through our Grants and Donations programme. When assessing a request for funding, Lilly considers a number of factors, including whether the activity for which support is sought:
- Promotes excellence in patient care
- Supports the NHS and NHS staff
- Supports local activities which will benefit the community
- Meets the UK regulatory requirements of the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) and Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
